    George is invited to the TACC and Oden Institute Workshop (Future Directions in Extreme Scale Computing for Scientific Grand Challenges, 1/9-1/10, UT Austin) to present on feasibility of aircraft LES on exascale machines and requirements for advanced computing.

  • October 16, 2019

    Our group was awarded High-End Computing (HEC) resources of 250k SBUs (7M processor-hours) to conduct the wall-modeled LES project on a NASA supercomputer Pleiades.

  • October 1, 2019

    We have two talks to be presented at the upcoming November APS DFD conference in Seattle on fundamentals and modeling of statistically three-dimensional turbulent boundary layers, the latter of which being presented by Xiaohan.
